A night of suprises!

Well, B came over for dinner last night.

Looking absolutely gorgeous, freshly shaven and even carrying a bottle of wine.

We had a great evening, chatting, laughing, eating my yummy lamb bolognaise, drinking wine.

We talked about the serious stuff too, and it appears we both suffer from the same problem...

We're both hesitant to get 'into' anything. Ultimately for fear of being hurt again, and we're both guilty of putting up a facade to protect ourselves from the outside.

So now I think we're back to where we were before thursday night (and he apologised profusely for being so rude, said he felt sick in the stomach at how he'd treated me) but now are both aware of each other's fears, and taking things very slowly on the 'lovey dovey relationship' side of things.

I really hope we get to know each other well enough to discover whether it's worth letting our guards down.
